Itinerary
The tour starts from your location.(cruise terminal,hotel,airport,train station,villa.) with a fantastic 20 minutes ride between the sloop of the active Volcano Vesuvius and the view of the Bay of Naples.I will reserve an exclusive tour guide(optional)for my costumers to try to avoid the main tour groups. The walking tour of Pompeii will last apx 2hrs. You will step back to 2000 years ago and the guide will tell you stories about the way of living of the ancient Pompeians.You will visit the Forum, the Public Market, the Baths a Private residence, a bakery, a wine bar, an ancient temple and, eventually, the ancient theatre.After the walk you can enjoy a genuine orange juice and some time for a souvenir of Pompeii.Finally we make our way to the Amalfi Coast. Marvel at the impressive fractures of the coastal line, admire the extraordinary blue color of the sea and feel the pure Mediterranean atmosphere. We can stop to take the best pictures.and discover its gorgeous beauty and its ancient towns. It is a road which is Listed as a World Heritage Site By the UNESCO, always winding steep on the Mediterranean. There are three colourful villages: Amalfi, Positano and Ravello, each one with its art, history and secrets. Lemon orchards everywhere, used to produce the delicious "limoncello" lemon liquor. Thousands of lovely corners to take wonderful pictures. Opportunities for nice lunches and good shopping. This and much more on this tour.On the Coast you have three beautiful villages: Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. The timing and the order will depend on you choice.Amalfi is the most historical and lively one, with the impressive Cathedral of St Andrew, where the relics of the apostle are kept.Positano is the most fashionable and colourful with its art galleries and clothing stores.Ravello is the most elegant and it features a nice Cathedral and the famous Villa Rufolo.The road itself is pure Mediterranean beauty: steep cliffs, blue sea, some luxurious villas grabbing to the rocks and this incredible narrow road stretching along the coast. Anywhere on the Coast you can stop to taste the local lemon liquor called "limoncello", or to see how they produce the so-called "ceramics of Vietri".Of course there are many options for an exquisite italian meal if requested.You can have a taste of them but it's evident that the time you can spend there depends on your ship,train,airplane timeline.

ADDITIONAL INFO: Pompeii site is extended on a surface of approximately 150 acres. To make the best of your day trip to Pompeii we strongly recommends its optional guided services. Our guided walking tour shall be adapted on the desires and walking attitude of the participants. The walk in Pompeii will be at slow pace. Be aware there is some walking uphill and some steps. For those not willing to take the entire walk there are plenty of cafés and gift shops right outside the entrance.
The Amalfi drive is a highly spectacular but winding road. Please be aware travelling time on the Amalfi Coast may take longer that you expect even on short distances. The time we can stop in each town will depend on you choice and of course on your ship departure time. We normally recommend to stop in 2 or maximum 3 of the towns on the itinerary. Consider that the driving time from the Amalfi coast back to Naples can be nearly 2 hrs. From Positano to Amalfi there are options to take boat trip to see the coast from the sea, which is gorgeous. You can normally reserve this in the morning for the afternoon. The cost depends on the amount of people on the tour.
